Taylor (hamstring) is day-to-day ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Panthers, Deepi Sidhu of the Texans' official site reports.
"If [Taylor's] ready to go, he'll play," coach David Culley said Monday. The veteran signal-caller completed 10 of 11 pass attempts for 125 yards and a touchdown and also turned his lone carry into a 15-yard score before being forced out of Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Browns. If Taylor isn't able to make a quick recovery, rookie Davis Mills will draw his first NFL start. In either case, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports that Deshaun Watson will remain a healthy scratch.
