Coach David Culley named Davis Mills Houston's starting quarterback for the rest of the season, relegating Taylor to backup duties, Drew Dougherty of the Texans' official site reports.
Taylor was cleared to return after suffering a wrist injury last week against the Colts, but Mills remained in the contest and will retain the starting job going forward. Taylor has played in six games this season and completed 91 of 150 passes for 966 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions while also rushing 19 times for 151 yards and three more scores.
