Taylor (hamstring) is expected to resume practicing this week, per coach David Culley, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.
Taylor's availability for Houston's Week 8 matchup with the Rams will come down to how his hamstring responds in practice. Once healthy enough to play, the veteran quarterback is expected to retake the starting job from Davis Mills for a Texans team that's dropped six consecutive games since beating Jacksonville in the season opener.
