Tate didn't catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks.
Tate has now gone without a catch on five targets through two preseason games. It's too early to press the panic button for the rookie No. 4 overall pick, though it would have been nice for Tate to show some rapport with 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward. Tennessee's starters were outscored 16-3 in the first quarter by Seattle's backups, so Tate is far from the only Titans player underperforming this preseason. On the bright side, Tate showed that he's healthy Sunday after battling some stiffness in practice leading up to the game.
