Mariota completed all five of his passes for 45 yards in Saturday's preseason opener against the Chargers.
Mariota is the unquestioned starter in Tennessee, and the 2015 second overall pick will be looking to improve on an up-and-down rookie season in which he posted 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. An upgraded rushing attack is likely to benefit the former Oregon star after teams were able to key on the pass in 2015, but he lacks reliable receiving options outside of tight end Delanie Walker.
