Mariota completed 22 of 37 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns, and added two carries for 14 yards Sunday against the Colts. He also lost one of two fumbles in a 34-26 loss.
Mariota's first touchdown pass was to offensive tackle Taylor Lewan from 10 yards out, while his second was a more conventional seven-harder to top target Delanie Walker. He did a good job of maneuvering Tennessee's balanced attack down the field for most of the afternoon, but had a fumble returned for a touchdown with the Titans trailing by four inside the two-minute warning. The second-year quarterback has been trending upward with an impressive 8:1 touchdown to interception ratio over the past three weeks.
