The Saints cut Siemian on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The Saints are rolling with Ian Book as the primary backup to Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill -- who will both see action during Week 1. Siemian has appeared in just one NFL game since 2017 and will likely return to New Orleans as a practice squad player if he clears waivers.
