Edmunds signed with the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Edmunds faced an uphill battle for a roster spot with Najee Harris and Kalen Ballage in the fold for the Steelers, and he was officially let go Tuesday. However, he'll remain in the organization and should be an option if the team needs an additional running back at some point in 2021.
