Phillips (quadriceps) is expected to be fully cleared in August, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Phillips suffered a torn quad in the Giants' Week 17 loss to the Rams last season and has been rehabbing in the Dallas area this summer. Currently a free agent, Phillips has 27 career starts under his belt over the last four seasons with the G-Men and Ravens.
