Phillips signed with the Giants' practice squad Wednesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
Phillips has seemingly recovered from a quadriceps injury and will now rejoin New York's practice squad. The 2020 third-round pick spent last season with the Giants and can provide solid depth if needed.
