Jones and most other starters aren't expected to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Browns, Mark Craig of The Star Tribune reports.
The Vikings played some starters in their preseason opener against Las Vegas, but Jones wasn't one of them and may now be joined by a longer list of resting players for the second exhibition. Jones is locked in as as the lead back in Minnesota, with the main question at this point being how much work Ty Chandler will get off the bench.
