Proehl was carted off the practice field Wednesday due to what appears to be a serious leg injury, Chad Graff of The Athletic reports.
Proehl drew strong reviews during June minicamp, and he logged an impressive practice Saturday. Prior to his injury, the undrafted rookie out of East Carolina appeared to be making a fair case for a spot on the 53-man roster. The Vikings will likely have Proehl undergo further medical evaluations before offering an official update on the severity of his injury.
