Gaskin carried the ball 13 times for 61 yards in Saturday's 26-3 preseason win over the Eagles. He also caught two of three targets for six yards.

The veteran running back got the start in the Vikings' exhibition finale, which doesn't bode well for his chances of making the 53-man roster, but he had another productive preseason performance. Gaskin might have been auditioning for other teams due to Aaron Jones, Ty Chandler and Kene Nwangwu all being set at the top of the depth chart, but if he does wind up back on Minnesota's practice squad, he seems capable of giving the Vikings reliable snaps if called upon.
