Every week I will give you facts that you need to know about every matchup in the NFL to help you set your lineup for the highest probability of winning.
It's crunch time in the majority of leagues, so let's get down to business.
Broncos at Texans, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Peyton Manning has an NFL-best 47 passing touchdowns through 14 games. The Texans have allowed multiple passing touchdowns to six of the last seven quarterbacks they have faced (14 total).• The Denver ground game was non-existent in Week 15 as Knowshon Moreno (eight carries for 19 yards) and Montee Ball (three for negative one yard) were both shut down. They did both catch five passes to salvage some value and Moreno has four games of 10-plus Fantasy points in the last five games while Ball has three.
• They should fare better this week against the Texans, who have given up at least 150 total yards with touchdown, along with 21-plus points to the position (average of 24 per game) in each of the last five games. Even Trent Richardson went over 100 total yards with a touchdown against the Texans.
• Demaryius Thomas had a touchdown or 100 yards receiving in seven straight games before being held below 50 yards in critical Week 15.
• Eric Decker had more than 100 yards with a touchdown in each of his last two games before being held below 50 yards in Week 15 as well.
• If Wes Welker (concussion) is unable to go, Andre Caldwell looks to be his fill-in. Caldwell played 37 snaps in Week 15 and ran 33 of the team's 43 pass routes while catching six of his 10 targets for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
• Like the rest of your main Broncos, Julius Thomas struggled in Week 15 with less than 50 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He does have a touchdown in three of his last four and six of the last seven eight games he has played. Tight ends have scored in two of the last three games and four of the last six against the Texans, but Coby Fleener failed to make a single catch against them in Week 15.
• Denver has given up at least 100 total yards to backs in nine straight games and backs have scored in 13 of 14 games against the Broncos this year. Five of the last six running back groups to face Denver have rushed for more than 90 yards with a touchdown en route to a 20-plus point Fantasy day, including four straight..
• Andre Johnson was held to 18 yards receiving on four catches in Week 15. Johnson had been below 40 yards four times this year prior to last week and averaged 109 yards per game (with three 100-yard efforts) following his previous down weeks.
• Tight ends have a grand total of two points and 25 yards receiving in the last two games against the Broncos. However, prior to those two games, six straight tight end groups produced at least eight Fantasy points.
Vikings at Bengals, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Only Le'Veon Bell has rushed for a touchdown against the Bengals in the last 10 weeks and he is also the only back or running back group to top 15 Fantasy points against them since Week 3. If Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart are out again, Matt Asiata will be the man. Asiata was held to 51 yards on 30 carries by the Eagles, but punched in three touchdowns.• Greg Jennings is the clear go-to-guy for Matt Cassel. Over the last three weeks, he leads the team with 32 targets, 23 catches, 294 yards and two touchdowns. Jennings has at least 13 Fantasy points in two of those games and the opposing top target has scored in four of the last five against the Bengals' injury depleted secondary. It should also be noted that Cassel has been the quarterback on all four of Jennings' touchdowns this year.
• Cordarrelle Patterson has a score in each of the last three games and four of his last six. The rookie is coming on strong.
• Andy Dalton has multiple passing scores in seven of his last nine games (three-plus touchdowns in five of them) and will take on a Vikings defense that has allowed a league-high 32 passing touchdowns. In fact, the Vikings have allowed multiple touchdowns and 22-plus Fantasy points to quarterbacks in eight straight games (27.6 per game) and each of the last two quarterbacks to face them have thrown for three-plus scores.
• BenJarvus Green-Ellis has three scores in his last three games and has at least 16 carries in three of the last four. The only exception was the Sunday night blowout loss to the Steelers.
• Giovanni Bernard had 148 total yards in Week 14 and followed that up with 43 total yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Steelers. He has at least 86 total yards in four of his last six games with four total touchdowns.
• The Vikings have not allowed a running back touchdown in three straight games, but backs are averaging 133 total yards per game against them. The Eagles inexplicably ran the ball only eight times last week and I don't think the Bengals will make the same mistake.
• A.J Green has 100 yards or a touchdown in seven of his last nine games one of the two exceptions came last week when he caught nine passes for 93 yards.
• The Vikings have allowed a receiver to score in 13 straight games and have given up 17 total receiver touchdowns during that span. Interestingly enough, only two of the last nine receiver scores have gone to the opposing No. 1 receiver (although DeSean Jackson lit them up for 130 yards and a score last week), while seven of them have gone to opposing secondary receivers. Marvin Jones has scored in each of the last two games for the Bengals.
• The Vikings have allowed 12 tight end scores this year -- most in the NFL -- so both Jermaine Gresham (who scored in Week 14) and Tyler Eifert (who scored in Week 15) are desperation plays. If Gresham is unable to go this week, Eifert becomes a Top 12 option.
Browns at Jets, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Jason Campbell has thrown for 564 yards and four touchdowns over the last two weeks. He takes on a Jets defense that has allowed multiple passing scores and 20-plus points in two of their last three games and five of their last seven games.• The Browns could not even rush for 100 yards against the Bears last week, but Edwin Baker was the primary ball carrier, picking up 38 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. He also added four catches for 46 yards and looked like a bright spot in an otherwise plodding Cleveland backfield. The Jets have allowed more than 100 yards rushing in three straight games after not allowing a single running back group to 100 yards in the first 11 games.
• Josh Gordon has scored a touchdown in five straight games and six of the last seven. He has 125-plus yards with a touchdown in five of those games. The opposing No. 1 has 100-yards and a touchdown against the Jets in two of the last three games.
• The Jets have given up 11 touchdowns to opposing No. 2 receivers -- most in the NFL -- so maybe Greg Little, who had 68 yards last week (his third highest total this year), can find the end zone in Week 16.
• Jordan Cameron followed up his 121 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 with just three catches for 23 yards against the Bears. He is a solid start against a Jets defense that has allowed 70 yards or a touchdown to tight ends in 11 of the last 12 games, including 88 yards to Greg Olsen last week.
• Defenses have 18-plus Fantasy points in four of the last five games against the Jets and are averaging exactly 18 points per game in those contests. Cleveland has scored double-digit Fantasy points in four of their last six games ( 11 per game).
• Even after facing Carolina (11 carries for 66 yards), Chris Ivory has rushed 83 times for 475 yards (79 per game) on 5.7 yards per carry with three touchdowns over the last six games. Backs have scored in each of the two games against the Browns run defense and are averaging 113.6 rushing yards and 20.2 Fantasy points per game over the last five.
• The Jets defense is averaging 11 Fantasy points per game over their last four home games, despite facing the Saints and the Patriots. Defenses have 10-plus points in four of the last five games against the Browns.
Saints at Panthers, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Drew Brees lit the Panthers up for 313 yards and four scores in the first meeting, but that game was in the Superdome. In outdoor games, Brees is averaging just 275 yards passing, 1.6 touchdowns, one interception and 18.6 points per game on his passing totals. In Week 14, Brees became the only quarterback all year to throw for multiple passing scores or reach 20 Fantasy points against Carolina. It should be noted that three of the last four quarterbacks to face the Panthers (yes I am excluding Geno Smith) have thrown for 290-plus yards and two have topped 300 yards.• Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles and Mark Ingram combined for seven Fantasy points last time against the Panthers. In the last 10 games, the Panthers have allowed only one rushing touchdown and only two running back groups over 95 yards rushing. Six of the last eight running back groups to face Carolina have produced nine or fewer Fantasy points and only one has topped 12 points.
• Marques Colston had his best game of the year against Carolina when he caught nine passes for 125 yards and two scores in Week 14. He followed that up with eight catches for 92 yards and a score in Week 15. He has yet to score a touchdown outdoors this year, however, and is averaging less than 30 yards per game in the elements.
• Jimmy Graham was held to 25 yards against the Rams in Week 15. Did you know that Graham has reached 60 yards receiving in just one of his last six games and two of his last nine? He did have two scores against the Panthers in Week 14 and Carolina has allowed a tight end touchdown in each of the last two games.
• Cam Newton was held to 16 Fantasy points in the first meeting with the Saints and has not thrown for multiple touchdowns against them in four straight games. He does average 6.2 points Fantasy points per game as a runner against the Saints in five career meetings.
• With Jonathan Stewart out in Week 15, the Panthers running backs split the load as follows against the tough Jets. DeAngelo Williams was the main man and ran 15 times for 81 yards while adding three catches for 87 yards and a touchdown. Mike Tolbert had 13 touches for 25 yards, but was the goal line back and punched in a touchdown of his own.
• Backs have at least 120 total yards in four straight games against the Saints and are averaging 17.5 points per game during that span. Zac Stacy ran for 133 yards and a touchdown against them last week, but the Saints have given up just two rushing touchdowns to running backs in the last five games.
• Steve Smith hauled in six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting against the Saints. He had three catches for 20 yards last week. He still is looking for his first game of more than 70 yards receiving and has just one touchdown since Week 7.
• No receiver has more than 80 yards receiving against the Saints since Week 4, so Smith, Ted Ginn or Brandon LaFell will likely need to score for good Fantasy value. A receiver has scored in two of the last three games, but only one receiver group in the last seven has topped 15 Fantasy points.
• Greg Olsen was targeted 12 times against the Saints and caught eight of them, but they netted only 40 yards. That was his only game without 80 yards or a touchdown in his last five.
• Only four defenses all year have produced 10-plus Fantasy points against the Saints, and all four of them accomplished the feat in their home stadium. In fact, defenses have 10-plus points in three of the last four road games for the Saints.
Dolphins at Bills, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Ryan Tannehill is hot with 25-plus points in three straight games and 19-plus in five of his last six. He has three touchdown passes in each of his last two games and threw three touchdowns against the Bills in the first meeting. The Bills have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in each of the last two games, but no quarterback has gotten to 20 Fantasy points against them since Drew Brees back in Week 8.• Backs, including Jordan Todman of the Jaguars last week, have more than 110 yards rushing in five straight games against the Bills and have scored six touchdowns during that span (22.2 points per game). Lamar Miller (38 snaps, 16 touches and 61 total yards) and Daniel Thomas (18 snaps, six touches and 18 total yards with a touchdown) split the workload against the Pats and should do the same this week in another favorable matchup. Miller is the best bet for yardage and Thomas seems to be the touchdown maker, making both flex options.
• Brian Hartline has scored in two of his last three games and has five-plus catches in six straight with 70-plus yards in three of the last four.
• Mike Wallace had 80-plus yards and a touchdown in three of his last four games (100-plus yards with a score in two of them). The Bills have allowed only three receiver touchdowns in their last six games, but the opposing top target is averaging 10.3 points per game over the last three weeks.
• Charles Clay had at least six catches and 80 yards in two straight and three of his last four games before being held to one catch for six yards by the Patriots in Week 15. Clay scored on his only catch in the first meeting with the Bills and could score again, as they have allowed a tight end touchdown in four straight games (11.25 points per game).
• The Bills have given up 10-plus Fantasy points to opposing defenses in six of the last eight games with 15 or more in four of them.
• Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller have both been held below 10 Fantasy points in each of the last two games against Tampa Bay and Jacksonville. In the first meeting, with a then suspect Miami run defense, Jackson had 13 Fantasy points (85 total yards and a touchdown) while Spiller had just one Fantasy point. Miami is much better now, however, and no running back has scored on Miami in five straight games. No running back group has rushed for 100 yards in the last four (averaging just 10.25 per game in those games).
• Steve Johnson has not scored or reached 70 yards in five straight games and eight of his last nine, including the first meeting with the 'Fins (six catches for 61 yards). Outside of the Pittsburgh game in Week 14, Miami has given up only two passing touchdowns to a receiver all season. Robert Woods -- who had five catches for 82 yards with a touchdown -- was the main man for the Bills last week and Miami has allowed a receiver score in each of the last two games.
• Tight ends have scored three times in the last 10 games against the 'Fins, so keep Scott Chandler, who had 18 yards in the first meeting, on the bench.
Buccaneers at Rams, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Mike Glennon does have multiple scores in seven of his 10 starts, but has thrown the ball more than 25 times in just one of his last seven games. That's a big reason why he has only two games of 20-plus points in his last eight starts. Only Josh McCown and Drew Brees have produced 20-plus Fantasy points against the Rams since Week 3.• Bobby Rainey has proven that he can take advantage of good matchups this year. He had 30 carries for 163 yards and two scores rushing against Atlanta and added 22 for 127 yards and a touchdown against the Bills in Week 14. Rainey has at least 17 carries in four of his last five games (blowout loss to San Francisco was the lone exception) and takes on a Rams team that has allowed a back to score in five of the last six games (eight total touchdowns). Now, it should also be noted than no running back group has reached 100 yards on the ground against the Rams since Week 9, but backs are averaging 19 Fantasy points per game over those last five.
• Vincent Jackson should annihilate the Rams, who have allowed a league-high 12 touchdowns to opposing No. 1 receivers. Jackson is averaging 99.5 yards and a touchdown per game indoors this season and has scored in each of the last two weeks.
• Timothy Wright has scored in each of the last two weeks, but takes on a Rams defense that just held Jimmy Graham to 25 yards receiving. Still, tight ends have 60-plus yards in three of the last four against the Rams and have scored in two of those games as well.
• Zac Stacy has a touchdown or 100 yards in six of his last seven games, including 133 and a score against the Saints last week. That will be tough to repeat this week against the Bucs. They have allowed only two running back rushing touchdowns all year and have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in six straight games. The good news is that the 49ers ran for 148 yards in their blowout win last week, but even so, backs are averaging only 11.75 points per game in the last four against Tampa.
• Wide receivers have not reached 100 yards receiving in either of the last two games against the Bucs.
• Tight ends have eight-plus points in four of the last five games against the Bucs, while averaging nine points per game. Don't see anyone taking the Jared Cook plunge this week, however, as he didn't even score either of the Rams' two tight end touchdowns last week.
Colts at Chiefs, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Andrew Luck has thrown for multiple passing touchdowns in two of his five outdoor games this year. He did not throw a single touchdown pass in any of the other three outdoor games in 2014. His best outdoor game was his last one, as he threw four scores against the Bengals in Week 14. Only four quarterbacks all year have thrown for multiple scores against the Chiefs and only four have reached 20 points. The good news for Luck is that two of them have come in the last four games.• Running backs have rushed for over 100 yards and produced at least 23 Fantasy points in five of the last six games against the Chiefs while averaging 24 points per game (703 rush yards, 1,031 total yards and eight touchdowns). Trent Richardson got the bulk of the work in the Colts blowout last week as he ran 19 times for 64 yards and added four catches for 38 yards and a score. Donald Brown had just five carries for 38 yards (all in the first quarter) before leaving the game with a stinger. If Brown is out, T-Rich will be the main man in Week 16, and it should be noted that he has nine catches for 106 yards and a touchdown the last two weeks alone.
• Da'Rick Rogers followed up his monster game of 107 yards and two scores in Week 14 with just two catches for 23 yards on six targets (second on team) in Week 15.
• T.Y. Hilton led the Colts with 12 targets, eight catches and 78 yards in Week 15. Still, Hilton has not scored in five straight games and has not even reached 50 yards receiving in four of them.
• Receivers have scored 22-plus points in four of the last five games against the Chiefs defense and are averaging 27.6 points per game during that span, so maybe T.Y. and Da'Rick deliver this week.
• Coby Fleener was shut out in critical Week 15, but he has a great matchup this week. Tight ends have a touchdown and nine-plus Fantasy points in four of the last five against KC (Denver without Julius Thomas was the only exception).
• Alex Smith has multiple passing scores in five straight games and six of his last seven, including a five-touchdown game last week against the Raiders. Amazingly, his five touchdowns last week -- which went for a combined total of 181 yards -- were thrown a grand total of 13 yards in the air. He is averaging 27.2 points per game over the last five and takes on a Colts defense that has given up multiple scores in six of the last eight games (22.4 points per game during that span).
• The Colts have given up a rushing touchdown, at least 96 yards rushing and 18-plus points in five of the last six games to running backs (20.7 per game). The lone exception was last week, and the Texans still ran for 105 yards and had 128 total in a blowout loss. Jamaal Charles will once again make his case for Fantasy MVP in Week 16 after his Fantasy winning (or killing if you played him) performance in Week 15 that saw him score five times. Charles already has 1,837 total yards and 18 touchdowns through 14 games.
• Dwayne Bowe has a touchdown in three of his last five games and is the only Chief pass catcher to think about starting in Week 16. The Colts have allowed multiple receiver scores in five of the last eight games with 11 total scores allowed during that run, but they did shut down Andre Johnson (18 yards) last week.
Titans at Jaguars, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 264 yards with two scores and ran in a third in his first meeting with the Jags. Jacksonville has allowed three straight and six of the last seven quarterbacks to produce multiple touchdowns and 24-plus Fantasy points, so Fitz, who threw for 402 yards and four touchdowns against the Cardinals last week, is a very good sleeper.• Chris Johnson was held to 30 yards rushing on 12 carries against the Jags in Week 10, but had a good day receiving with 43 yards on five catches. Last week was similar for him against the tough Cardinals as he ran for 40 yards on 13 carries, but caught three passes for 51 yards and a score. Amazingly, the Jags have not allowed a back to top 80 yards rushing in six straight games and only Willis McGahee, who scored in Week 13, has reached 10 Fantasy points against them in those games.
• Kendall Wright bounced back from a disappointing Week 14 with 12 catches for 150 yards on 20 targets in Week 15. He now has six catches and 70-plus yards in five of his last six games, including Week 10 against the Jags.
• The Jags have allowed a receiver to reach 150 yards in three of their last five games.
• The Jags are allowing 9.8 points per game -- third most -- to tight ends and they have scored or topped 60 yards in 11 of the last 12 games. Delanie Walker had 62 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville in Week 10 and returned to action with 53 yards and a touchdown last week.
• If Maurice Jones-Drew is back, roll with him against the Titans. MJD had 74 total yards and a touchdown against them in Week 10 and has a touchdown or 100-plus total yards in six straight games and seven of his last eight. If he can't go, Jordan Todman scored on the Titans in Week 10 and posted 109 yards rushing on 25 carries (153 total yards) against the Bills in place of MJD in Week 15. The Titans have given up a running back touchdown and 16-plus Fantasy points to the position in 10 straight games. Backs have 20-plus points in nine of those 10 games and have totaled 17 scores. In fact, backs have 30-plus in each of the last two games and 26-plus in four of the last five. Runners have scored multiple touchdowns in seven of the last nine against the Titans as well.
• Outside of the Broncos, no receiver has scored on the Titans since Week 2.
• Marcedes Lewis has a touchdown and eight-plus Fantasy points in three straight games and has 10-plus in each of the last two. Tight ends have scored in two straight and five of the last eight tight end groups to face the Titans have eight-plus points.
Cowboys at Redskins, Sun., 1 p.m. ET
• Tony Romo will want to forget the end of Week 15 in a hurry and the Redskins should help him do that. Washington is giving up an average of two quarterback touchdowns and over 20 Fantasy points per game to the position over the last eight games. Romo has thrown for multiple touchdowns in two straight and five of his last seven games.• DeMarco Murray has at least 14-plus Fantasy points in three straight and 12-plus in five straight games (17.4 points per game). Murray is averaging 104 yards rushing and 126.2 total yards with a touchdown per game in those five. Washington has allowed multiple running back scores in five of the last six games and has given up a league-high 19 running back rushing scores this year.
• Dez Bryant has scored in each of the last two games and had a monster Week 15 with 11 catches for 153 yards (both season-highs) and a touchdown. The opposing No. 1 receiver has three scores in the last four weeks against Washington.
• Jason Witten has scored in two straight and three of his last four games. Tight ends have 60 yards or a touchdown in 12 of the Redskins 14 games this year and have scored in three of the last four games.
• Kirk Cousins threw for 381 yards and three scores against the Falcons and has at least 329 yards with multiple touchdowns in both NFL starts. Matt Flynn just threw four touchdowns against this Dallas defense! Enough said!
• Alfred Morris was more involved with Cousins and ran 18 times for 98 yards, his most in a month. The good times will keep rolling against the Boys, who have given up 1,058 yards rushing, nine rushing touchdowns, 382 yards receiving, five receiving touchdowns (yes that's 1,440 total yards, 14 total touchdowns and a two-point conversion) and 222 Fantasy points to running backs over the last seven games. No running back group has been held below 17 Fantasy points in that run and six have produced 25-plus Fantasy points. Amazingly, only one running back group has been held below five yards per carry against Dallas since Week 8!
• Pierre Garcon was energized by Cousins and caught seven of his 10 targets for 125 yards and a touchdown in Week 15. The opposing No. 1 receiver has scored in each of the last two games against Dallas.
• A Washington tight end has scored in three straight games, two from Logan Paulsen and one from Fred Davis. Dallas is giving up 9.0 points per games to tight ends.
• Monte Kiffin's awesome defense gives up the most Fantasy points to quarterbacks (25.4), running backs (23.7), the fifth most to receivers (25) and the sixth most to tight ends (9.0) on a per game basis. Now that is impressive.
Giants at Lions, Sun., 4:05 p.m. ET
• The Giants were shut out last week and have basically been shut out for Fantasy purposes this year.• Eli Manning scored negative three Fantasy points last week against Seattle. That is 14 points below the average quarterback performance against the Hawks in 2013. The Lions have allowed just one passing touchdown in the last two games as they held Joe Flacco and the Ravens out of the end zone in Week 15.
• Andre Brown was limited to 26 total yards last week and could meet a similar fate against the Lions this week. Other than the LeSean McCoy blizzard bowl, the Lions have not allowed 100 total yards, a touchdown or 10 Fantasy points to tailbacks in seven straight games. In fact, no running back has rushed for a touchdown against the Lions since Week 4, and only two running back groups have topped 2.5 yards per carry in the last seven games.
• Victor Cruz has not scored in 10 straight games and has just one double-digit point game during that run. He has been held below 70 yards in seven of those 10 games. He is banged up and could miss this game.
• Hakeem Nicks has not scored in 17 straight games and has been below six Fantasy points in eight of his last 11. Way to make sure you cash in on free agency, Hakeem.
• Rueben Randle has not scored in four straight and has a grand total of 111 yards receiving in those games after being shut out last week.
• Quarterbacks are averaging 20.25 points per game against the Giants in the last four, so Matthew Stafford, who has multiple passing scores in 11 of 14 games this year, should stay hot against a completely defeated team. He will have to rebound after a tough Monday Night Football performance and needs to take better care of the ball. Stafford has an astonishing nine interceptions in his last three games.
• The opposing primary ball carrier has topped 100 total yards or scored in six straight against the Giants, who are giving up 22 points per game to backs over the last four weeks. Reggie Bush looked good on Monday night with 101 total yards and a touchdown on 19 touches. Joique Bell was in a significantly limited role this week (he had scored in each of two previous games), playing just 29 of 67 snaps and touching the ball 10 times for 47 yards.
• Twelve of the 14 defenses to face the Giants have 11-plus points this year and not a single one has been below eight. Over the last two weeks, the Chargers and Seahawks combined for 40 Fantasy points against the G-Men. The Lions have taken advantage of good matchups this year and have averaged 15 points per game in their last three at home.
Cardinals at Seahawks, Sun., 4:05 p.m. ET
• Since suffering his elbow injury, Carson Palmer has not thrown for 300 yards or multiple scores in either of the last two games. It will likely be three in a row against Seattle, as no quarterback has 20 Fantasy points against Seattle since Week 5, and they give up just 10 points per game to the position, fewest in the NFL.• No running back has scored on the Hawks in seven straight games, as Rashard Mendenhall was the last man to find the end zone against them. Mendenhall has scored in three straight games and four of his last five. Andre Ellington has at least 13 Fantasy points in each of his last two games as he had a touchdown back in Week 14 and 158 total yards last week against the Titans. Both Cardinal streaks are in jeopardy this week.
• Larry Fitzgerald has three catches for 19 yards in his last two games against Seattle. He has seven for 82 in his last three games combined against them.
• Seattle has not allowed a receiver touchdown in three straight and allows only 13.4 points per game to the position, fewest in the NFL. No opposing No. 1 receiver has 10-plus points vs. Seattle since Week 4 (Andre Johnson).
• Michael Floyd has a grand total of four catches for 59 yards since injuring his ankle two weeks ago. He had at least 99 yards in the three games prior.
• Quarterbacks have thrown for more than three touchdowns and have produced 29-plus Fantasy points in two of the last three games against the Cardinals. Russell Wilson tossed three scores against them in the first meeting en route to a 25-point day.
• Marshawn Lynch is one of only two backs to rush for 90 yards against the Cardinals all year and he added in a touchdown in the first meeting. He has scored in two straight games and four of his last five with six total touchdowns. Lynch has already set his career-high with 307 yards receiving this season and his 33 catches are his most as a member of the Hawks and the second-most of his career.
• Doug Baldwin has a touchdown or 75 yards in five of his last six games with a touchdown in four of those games (three of his last four). A receiver has scored in only one of the last five games against the Cards.
• Zach Miller had five catches for 40 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting with the Cards. He has just two catches for 31 yards the last two weeks, but you have to love this matchup. A tight end has scored in five of the last six games against Arizona with seven total scores. For the year, Arizona still allows the most yards (83.4), touchdowns (1.1) and Fantasy points per game (14.3) to tight ends.
Patriots at Ravens, Sun., 4:25 p.m. ET
• Even without Gronk, Tom Brady threw for 364 yards and two touchdowns in Week 15. He now has 350-plus yards and multiple touchdowns in four straight games. Brady has 300-plus yards in two straight against the Ravens, but has not thrown for multiple scores against them since 2009 (four straight starts) and has a total of three touchdowns and six interceptions. Quarterbacks had thrown for multiple scores and topped 20 Fantasy points in each of the last two against the Ravens before they held Matt Stafford to single digits in Week 15.• Shane Vereen was double-teamed by the Dolphins last week and was held to just three catches for eight yards on seven targets. He had been averaging eight catches per game in the five games prior.
• Neither Stevan Ridley nor LeGarrette Blount have reached 50 yards rushing or taken more than 11 carries in either of the last two games. The Ravens had allowed one rushing touchdown in their first 11 games. They have allowed one in each of the last three games, along with 100-plus total yards. In fact, backs have at least 14 Fantasy points in three straight games and five of the last six (with 18-plus four times).
• Julian Edelman has 10-plus Fantasy points in four straight games. He has at least nine targets and six catches in each of them, with four total touchdowns and three games of more than 100 yards. Edelman has been a Top 5 Fantasy receiver the last four weeks and is averaging 16.5 Fantasy points per game.
• Danny Amendola had 10 catches for 131 yards last week and has 100 yards or a touchdown in each of the last two games.
• The Ravens have allowed multiple receiver scores in two of the last three games before keeping the Detroit receivers out of the end zone on Monday night.
• Joe Flacco had three touchdowns against the Vikings in Week 14 and then failed to produce a single score against the Lions in Week 15. New England has given up over 300 yards passing and three touchdowns to Jason Campbell and Ryan Tannehill the last two weeks alone. Six of the last seven quarterbacks to face the Pats have thrown for multiple passing touchdowns and four of the last six have 32-plus points.
• Three of the last four running back groups to face the Pats have 21-plus points and they are averaging 23.25 points per game against them. Ray Rice has rushed for more than 60 yards just three times all year, but he did take advantage of his last two favorable matchups with double-digit points against Chicago and Minnesota. Rice has just one touchdown since Week 5, but has scored in each of the last two games against the Pats.
• The opposing No. 1 has 100-plus yards with a touchdown against New England in two straight games and five of the last six have produced 10-plus Fantasy points. Torrey Smith averages over 90 yards per game with a touchdown in three career starts against the Pats.
• Dennis Pitta had 50 yards and a touchdown in both games against New England last year. The Pats have given up a tight end touchdown and 11-plus Fantasy points to the position in three of the last five games (10.8 per game), although they did shut down Charles Clay in Week 15. I did not like how little Pitta played in Week 15, as he was on the field for 30 of the team's 66 snaps. He did run 23 of the 43 routes, but he was not the every-down tight end I thought he would be in his second game back. That's why he had only four targets and 22 yards on two catches against the Lions.
Steelers at Packers, Sun., 4:25 p.m. ET
• Due to the fact that the Steelers were blowing out the Bengals, Ben Roethlisberger had modest totals of 191 yards and one score in Week 15. Still, he was 20 of 25 in that game and looked very much like the quarterback who had thrown for multiple scores in the five previous games. The Packers have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in each of the last three games (seven total).• Le'Veon Bell has 88 total yards or a touchdown in eight straight games and is averaging 11.8 points per game during that span. He has 100-plus total yards with a score in two of his last three games and has a great Week 15 matchup. Backs have at least 130 total yards in four straight, with more than 130 yards rushing and a touchdown in three of them against the Green Bay defense (26 points per game in those four).
• Antonio Brown has 100 yards or a touchdown in six of his last seven games. He even had a punt return touchdown last week to go with his 66 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.
• Emmanuel Sanders has at least four catches in four straight games and has a touchdown in three of them. Amazingly, he does not have 60 yards receiving in a game since Week 9.
• Jerricho Cotchery has a touchdown in five of his last seven games.
• Receivers have scored in three straight games and six of the last seven against the Pack with 11 total touchdowns during that span. They have 28-plus Fantasy points in five of them as well.
• Tight ends have scored in three of the last four against Green Bay and two of them have topped 80 yards as well. Heath Miller has not scored in eight straight games and has topped 60 yards just twice in that drought.
• Matt Flynn threw four touchdowns against the Cowboys, but won't repeat that feat against an NFL defense. Hopefully Aaron Rodgers will be back and if he is, he will take on a Pittsburgh defense that has allowed multiple touchdowns and 20-plus points to Andy Dalton and Ryan Tannehill the last two weeks.
• Last week's touchdown was Jordy Nelson's first without Rodgers this year. He does average over 15 Fantasy points per game with Rodgers under center, should he return.
• James Jones scored in Week 15, his first touchdown since Week 5.
• Jarrett Boykin also got the Dallas boost, catching six passes for 83 yards last week. He had not reached 25 yards in either of the two previous games. Boykin did have 13 catches for 192 yards and a touchdown in his two full games with Rodgers.
• A receiver has scored in five straight against the Steelers (six total) and receivers have 22-plus points in four of those games (26.2 points per game). Four of the touchdowns have been to the opposing No. 1 receivers, while each of the last two have gone to the opposing No. 2.
• Andrew Quarless scored in back-to-back games and had exactly six catches for 66 yards in both of them. The Steelers have allowed a tight end touchdown in each of the last two games with three total touchdowns, 160 yards and 15.5 points per game.
Raiders at Chargers, Sun., 4:25 p.m. ET
• Peyton Manning (twice) and the red hot Alex Smith are the only quarterbacks to produce 20 Fantasy points against the Chargers since Week 5. Matt McGloin threw two scores against the Chiefs last week, but also had four interceptions and lost a fumble.• Rashad Jennings is a man on fire. He has two touchdowns in each of his last two games and has 10-plus Fantasy points in six straight games. The Chargers held the Denver backs to 18 yards rushing in Week 14, but they did combine for 85 yards receiving. Even with that game, the Chargers have given up over 100 total yards to backs in five straight and have surrendered five scores during that span as well (15.2 points per game).
• Rod Streater has five catches and 80-plus yards (with two scores) in three of the five games started by McGloin. He had 56 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting with the Chargers this year.
• Andre Holmes has 130-yards or a touchdown in two of the last three games, reaching 11 Fantasy points in two as well.
• Receivers have 20-plus points in four straight and seven of the last eight against the Chargers, with five touchdowns in the last four alone.
• Mychal Rivera has scored in each of the last two games for the Raiders and tight ends have scored in four of the last six against the Chargers.
• Philip Rivers has thrown for five touchdowns the last two weeks and torched the Raiders for 411 yards and two scores in the first meeting this year. Three of the last four quarterbacks to face the Raiders have 23-plus Fantasy points, and Alex Smith just hung five touchdowns on them.
• Ryan Mathews is a star folks, and yes, it is about time. He has 29 carries, 100-plus yards and a touchdown in each of the last two games and is coming off of a season-high 127 yards against the Broncos. Mathews now has 10-plus Fantasy points in eight of his last 10 full games.
• Danny Woodhead has been held below 50 total yards in four of his last six games, but did score as a pass catcher against Oakland back in Week 10 (75 total yards). Hopefully the Chargers saw the Chiefs throw four screen pass touchdowns to Jamaal Charles last week and Woodhead can score again.
• Keenan Allen has caught five passes the last two weeks. Four of them have been touchdowns. He had six catches for 115 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting with Oakland and has 100-plus yards receiving or a touchdown in four straight games and seven of the last 10.
• Antonio Gates had seven catches for 74 yards in the first meeting with Oakland, but he has reached 60 yards just once in the nine games since. He also has only one touchdown in those nine games as well.
Bears at Eagles, Sun., 8:30 p.m. ET
• Jay Cutler got off to a shaky start against the Browns but rallied to throw for 265 yards and three touchdowns with two picks. Cutler has 20-plus points and multiple touchdowns in all four of his last full games. The Eagles just made Matt Cassel look like Tom Brady and three straight quarterbacks (excluding the blizzard bowl) have thrown for multiple scores and produced 24-plus Fantasy points against the Birds.• Matt Forte has not scored a rushing touchdown in six straight games, but does have at least 117 total yards in each of his last five games and has rushed for 100-plus yards in three straight games. Matt Asiata just ran for three scores against the Eagles and backs have posted an average of 20.6 Fantasy points against them the last six weeks.
• Alshon Jeffery has scored in three straight games and now has 100 total yards or a touchdown in nine of his last 10 starts. Cutler's first start in weeks saw Jeffery (five targets) dip below eight targets for the first time in seven weeks.
• Brandon Marshall was the go-to-guy for Cutler and caught six of his 13 targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in Week 15.
• Outside of the blizzard bowl, receivers have 701 yards with five total touchdowns in the last three games against Philly and are averaging 34 Fantasy points per game. Yes please!
• The Eagles have allowed only two tight end touchdowns all year, but both have come in the last five games. No tight end has gotten to 60 yards against the Eagles since Week 7.
• Nick Foles is the top Fantasy quarterback over his last six games depending on your scoring system (32.8 points per game) and continues to amaze. He has at least 20 Fantasy points in six straight games with 28 or more in four of them and 39 or more in two of them. This is a tougher matchup than Minnesota, as the Bears have allowed multiple touchdowns or more than 15 Fantasy points to quarterbacks in just one of the last five games.
• LeSean McCoy got only eight carries last week and that is criminal. He should crush the Bears, who even gave up 13 Fantasy points to Edwin Baker of the Browns last week. Prior to the Browns game, backs had rushed for 150-plus yards in four straight games against Chicago with four total scores in those games while averaging 26 Fantasy points per game. Backs had rushed for at least 120 yards against Chicago in eight straight games (with a 100-yard rusher in each of the last six, which was an NFL record) and had scored 11 times. Even with the Browns game, backs have also produced at least 18 Fantasy points in 10 of the last 11 games against Chicago and have exceeded 25 points in seven of them!
• DeSean Jackson has a touchdown in two straight games and four of the last six. He had a season-best 195 yards last week on 10 catches and takes on a Bears defense that has given up a touchdown to the opposing No. 1 target in five of the last six games.
• Riley Cooper has not scored in four straight games and has topped 50 yards in just one of those games. Amazingly, he has a two-point conversion catch in each of his last two.
Falcons at 49ers, Mon., 8:30 p.m. ET
• Matt Ryan did not throw for two scores at home against Washington in a great matchup, so I am not trusting him on the road against the 49ers. Mike Glennon is the only quarterback to throw for multiple scores against the 49ers in the last seven games and no quarterback has topped 17 Fantasy points against them in that span.• Steven Jackson scored two more times last week and now has five rushing scores in his last four games. Amazingly, every single one of Jackson's touchdowns have come in a dome this year. Outside, he is averaging 44 yards rushing per game with no touchdowns. Jackson has also disappeared from the pass game, with just five catches for 14 yards the last three weeks combined.
• Roddy White has at least five catches in three straight games, but his yards have decreased from 143 to 74 to 53 in each of them. He has only one touchdown this year and only five receivers have reached 10 Fantasy points against the 49ers since Week 1.
• Harry Douglas has not scored in four straight games and has produced seven, seven, two and three points despite seeing 40 targets in those four games.
• Tight ends have at least 80 yards with a touchdown in each of the last two games against the 49ers and have scored in three of the last five. Tony Gonzalez has a score in three straight games and posted eight catches for 78 yards and a score against the 49ers in the NFC Championship game last year.
• Outside of the Seattle game, Colin Kaepernick has thrown for multiple scores in four straight games and is averaging 21.5 points per game. A total of 13 of the 14 quarterbacks to face the Falcons have produced multiple touchdowns this year and Kirk Cousins threw for 381 yards and three scores against them last week.
• Frank Gore has just one rushing touchdown since Week 8! The Falcons have allowed 100 yards rushing to backs in seven of the last eight games with 10 total touchdowns during that span.
• Anquan Boldin has a touchdown or 93-plus yards in four of the last five games with three total scores during that run.
• Michael Crabtree scored his first touchdown last week against the Bucs and is playing every down for the 49ers once again. He does not have 70 yards receiving in a game yet this year.
• Vernon Davis scored again in Week 15 and now has 10 scores in his last 11 games. He has scored in five straight games and has more than 70 yards in three of them. It is more amazing when you consider that he is averaging just 5.4 targets per game. Over the last four weeks, tight ends have scored four times and are averaging 13.25 Fantasy points per game against the Falcons. Davis had five catches for 106 yards and a touchdown against them in the NFC Championship a year ago.
• Defenses have 13-plus points against the Falcons in six of the last eight games and are averaging 14.3 points per game during that run.
