Smallwood was signed to Washington's practice squad Tuesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Smallwood spent the 2019 season with Washington. He recorded 22 rushes for 81 yards and nine receptions for 64 yards across 15 appearances. In a corresponding move, the Football Team released running back Jonathan Williams from their practice squad.
