Davidson signed a contract with the Bills' practice squad Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.
Davidson was the team's leading receiver during the preseason, which wasn't enough to keep him on the active roster but did land him a spot on the practice squad. With Quintin Morris (shoulder) looking iffy for Week 1 against the Cardinals, Davidson could be promoted early.
