Rhodes was elevated to the Cowboys' active roster Monday, Jane Slater of NFL Network reports. After being signed to the Cowboys' practice squad Jan. 7, Rhodes will be active for the team's contest against the Buccaneers in the wild-card round Monday. The cornerback will likely operate in a depth role behind the likes of Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland in the secondary.

Rhodes (hamstring) was reinstated to the practice squad Tuesday. Rhodes joined the Bills' practice squad Sept. 28, but he was placed on the team's injured list Oct. 1. The expectation was he'd quickly make it to the active roster but the injury derailed those plans. Now healthy, Rhodes will work to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

Rhodes (calf) has been cleared to play Sunday against Buffalo. This is encouraging news for the Colts, as Rhodes is one of Indianapolis' most prized assets on the defensive side of the ball. He should have his hands full Sunday against one of the best offenses in the league.
