  • Johnson (concussion) said Wednesday he's been fully cleared to suit up for Sunday's game against the Browns, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports. Johnson, coming out of the bye week, said he's fully cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. Getting the veteran Pro Bowler back at right tackle will signify a notable boost for Philadelphia's offensive line, especially against a formidable Cleveland pass rush headlined by Myles Garrett and Za'Darius Smith.

  • Eagles' Lane Johnson: Won't play Sunday
    By RotoWire

Johnson (concussion) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Johnson suffered a concussion last Sunday against the Saints and has not made enough progress in the league's five-step protocols to be cleared to suit up for Week 4. The absence of the multi-time Pro Bowl tackle will be a significant blow to Philadelphia's offensive line. Fred Johnson should draw the start at right tackle in Johnson's stead.

Johnson has gone back to the locker room after being checked out in the medical tent. He'll have to pass the league's concussion protocols in order to return Sunday. By RotoWire

  • Johnson (groin) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's Week 13 contest against San Francisco. Johnson sat out last week's win over Buffalo due to a groin injury, but he was able to log two full practice sessions this week. As such, he'll be able to suit up in a key NFC clash against the 49ers on Sunday. Johnson's presence will be a big boost to Philadelphia's offensive line against a 49ers defense that ranks second in the NFL in fewest rush yards allowed and 11th in sacks on the season.
