  • Jon Feliciano: Calls it a career
    By RotoWire

Feliciano (knee) announced Thursday via his personal social media that he is retiring from the NFL. Feliciano says he "realized I had to leave the game" in his statement due to the fact that the knee injury that kept him out the entire 2024 campaign would prohibit him from suiting up for a full season in the future. The veteran guard did, however, state that he'd be open to returning for a playoff run in the future with either the 49ers or Bills, both teams he's previously played for. Since joining the league in 2015, Feliciano also has seen action with the Raiders and Giants.

Feliciano (knee) will remain on injured reserve for the remainder of the season, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports. The veteran offensive lineman has yet to play this season after he underwent a knee surgery in training camp that landed him on IR. Feliciano's 21-day practice window opened in early November, but his knee hasn't responded the right way and he's now set to miss all of 2024.

Feliciano has also spent time with the Raiders, Bills and Giants across his NFL career, appearing in 113 total games and making 61 starts. Last season, the 32-year-old offensive lineman appeared in 16 games (seven starts) and played 559 total snaps for the 49ers, and he's expected to compete for the starting job at right guard once again this offseason.

    By RotoWire

Feliciano (shoulder) returned to practice Monday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
