  • The Eagles have signed Tartt to a one-year deal. Per Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Tartt figures to compete with Marcus Epps for a starting starting safety role alongside Anthony Harris. The 30-year-old is coming off a 2021 campaign in which he recorded 66 tackles in 14 games with the 49ers.

  • 49ers' Jaquiski Tartt: Logs full practice
    By RotoWire

Tartt (groin) was able to practice in full Friday and will play Sunday against the Cowboys. Tartt was limited Wednesday and Thursday after leaving Week 18 against the Rams early with the injury. His availability is a big boost to the 49ers' secondary as they head to Dallas for the wild-card round of the playoffs Sunday.

  • Tartt (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's Week 18 matchup against the Rams, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Tartt was limited during each of the 49ers' three practice sessions ahead of Week 18, but he'll still have a chance to suit up in Week 18. Talanoa Hufanga will likely take on a starting role if Tartt is out.

  • Tartt (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Tartt has logged a pair of limited practices to begin the week while dealing with a shoulder issue that he picked up in the 49ers' Week 17 win over the Texans. He has battled through a number of lower body injuries throughout the campaign but has still suited up for 13 games. Assuming he can either log another limited practice or upgrade to full participation Friday, Tartt should have a strong possibility of suiting up for Sunday's showdown with the Rams.

  • Tartt is day-to-day due to an ankle sprain, Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports. Tartt's ankle sprain is believed to be minor, as coach Kyle Shanahan says he would be surprised if Tartt's unable to play Thursday in Tennessee. If Tartt can't go against the Titans, either Talanoa Hufanga (knee) or Jarrod Wilson would start at strong safety.
