  • Jackson (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Missi Matthews of the Steelers' official site reports. Although Jackson was able to rest during the Steelers' Week 9 bye after being traded from Washington to Pittsburgh at the beginning of November, he'll be forced to miss a fourth consecutive game due to his back injury. His next chance to make his team debut will be Nov. 20 against the Bengals.

  • Jackson (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Colts, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Jackson will miss a third straight game due to a back injury he picked up during Washington's Week 5 loss to Tennessee. In his absence, Rachad Wildgoose figures to continue seeing increased snaps in the Commanders secondary.

  • Jackson (back) didn't practice Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Jackson was sidelined for the team's Week 6 win over Chicago due to a back injury that he suffered in Week 5. It was presumably an aggravation of the issue that caused him to miss Week 3 as well. Given that it appears to be a reoccurring thing, Washington may elect to keep him out for a second consecutive contest. However, he'll have two more opportunities to return to practice before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

  • Jackson (knee) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Jackson hasn't played since Week 6 against the Chiefs, and it appears the Week 9 bye was what Jackson needed to get to full health. He'll likely return to his starting role in the secondary in Week 10 against Tampa Bay.

  • Jackson (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, is viewed as a game-time decision ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports. Washington's top cornerback sat out the Football Team's Week 7 loss to the Packers, but he appears to have more hope of playing this week after practicing on a limited basis Wednesday through Friday. Even if he's cleared to play at less than 100 percent health, Jackson's presence would be a welcome one for a porous Washington pass defense as it looks to slow down a slew of talented Denver pass catchers such as Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and Noah Fant.
