    Peat signed with the Raiders on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The offensive guard and three-time Pro Bowler spent his first nine seasons in New Orleans. Peat has started 102 of his 111 career games, but he is listed as the Raiders' backup left guard behind Dylan Parham.

Peat has been out of action since July 31 when he suffered a quadriceps injury during practice. He started 11 games at left guard last season and should reclaim that role now that he has returned.

Peat did have to leave practice early, although the severity of the injury is still not known.
