Hamilton is fully recovered from a patella fracture suffered in December of 2022 and is ready to work out for teams, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hamilton last played in an NFL game in 2020 and then suffered a torn ACL that caused him to miss the 2021 campaign. He was part of the Dolphins' practice squad when he fractured his patella, then he was ultimately waived with an injury settlement. The 28-year-old had appeared in 46 games with the Broncos, recording 81 catches for 833 yards and five touchdowns over three seasons.

Hamilton (undisclosed) was cut from Miami's practice squad with an injury waiver designation Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hamilton joined Miami's practice squad Dec. 14, so it appears that he suffered an injury shortly after signing with the team. He has not appeared in a game since the 2020 season.

Hamilton will head to Miami after he was waived by the Texans in June with a knee injury. The wide receiver hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2020 when he suffered a torn ACL and missed the entirety of the 2021 campaign. With Tyreek Hill (ankle) a little banged up, it's possible Hamilton could be elevated to the active roster for Saturday's matchup with the Bills.

The wide receiver went down with a right knee injury which required the attention of the training staff, but there's no official word on his exact injury yet. Hamilton signed a one-year deal with the Texans in the offseason after the former Bronco missed all of 2021 due to a torn ACL suffered last May.
