Dawson (undisclosed) was waived with an injury designation by the Steelers on Monday. Dawson will revert to IR once he clears waivers and potentially miss the 2023 campaign if he doesn't reach an injury settlement with the team.

Dawson (groin) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports. Dawson joined the Panthers in July with expectations of competing for a depth spot in Carolina's secondary. However, Dawson will now be forced to miss the season. He'll now work to get healthy and make an impact next year.

Dawson was cut by the Broncos on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Dawson was just activated from the PUP list Monday as he's apparently recovered from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 14 of the 2020 season. He was a second-round selection of the Patriots in 2018 and was traded to the Broncos before the 2019 season began. He'll now try to catch on somewhere else as he regains his health.

Dawson won't return to Sunday's game against the Panthers due to a knee injury. Dawson sustained the noncontact injury during the first quarter on a blitz and was carted off the field. It's not a great sign the 25-year-old was ruled out almost immediately after leaving the game. Kevin Toliver and De'Vante Bausby could have increased roles for the Broncos.

Dawson (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Dawson returned to practice on a limited basis Friday after sitting out the first two sessions of the week. Isaac Yiadom or recently-demoted Devontae Harris could fill in if the 24-year-old is unable to play.
