Cabinda reverted to the Lions' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. The fullback played seven snaps on offense and another 21 on special teams in Detroit's NFC Championship Game loss to the 49ers on Sunday.

The Lions elevated Cabinda to the active roster Saturday. After joining the practice squad Jan. 2, Cabinda, has been elevated from the practice squad for all three of the Lions' playoff games. In Detroit's NFC divisional-round win over the Buccaneers, Cabinda played 35 snaps -- 11 on offense and 24 on special teams -- and caught his lone target for no gain.

Expect the 27-year-old to serve as the Lions' top fullback while also contributing on special teams.
