  Kizer signed with the Titans' practiced squad Friday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Kizer was with the Titans in camp but ultimately failed to make the team. The familiar face returns to provide depth under center while fellow reserve quarterback Logan Woodside is on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

  Kizer signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Kizer was cut from the Raiders' practice squad in September and eventually latched on with the Titans' practice roster in late November. The 25-year-old quarterback never was called up for any game action, and he hasn't played since logging three games with the Packers back in 2018. In those contests, Kizer completed 20 of 42 passes for 187 yards (4.5 YPA), no touchdowns and two interceptions. The 2017 second-round pick will battle to be Ryan Tannehill's backup next season.

  The Raiders signed Kizer to the practice squad Monday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Kizer was cut by the Raiders back in May and didn't work with them through training camp, but he'll serve as additional depth for the team's quarterback room. The 24-year-old hasn't played since 2018, when he was with the Packers when he completed 20 of 42 passes for 187 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. The 2017 second-round pick has struggled to establish himself in the league, but this provide him with an opportunity to learn from head coach Jon Gruden as he looks to restart his career.

  Kizer supplanted Mike Glennon as the No. 2 quarterback on Oakland's roster Thursday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports. Kizer has been a healthy scratch for the Raiders all season, but he stands to be active against Tennessee on Sunday as the top backup to Derek Carr. As a result, Mike Glennon will likely serve as the team's reserve option going forward.
