  Roberts (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday. Roberts was bothered by a quadriceps injury that cost him six games earlier in the season. He returned to a special teams role in Week 13, but he will now be forced out of Sunday's game against Dallas. Roberts has yet to play a defensive snap this season, so his absence won't affect Washington's defense.

  Washington has designated Roberts (quadriceps) for return from IR. The Football Team will have a 21-day window to evaluate Roberts at practice. The depth cornerback, who was limited to special teams in his two appearances this season, could be added to the active roster and retake the field as early as Sunday's road matchup against the Panthers.

He will be sidelined for at least three weeks with the move to injured reserve, but he may miss more time.
