  • Packers' Jordan Morgan: Impresses at camp
    By RotoWire

Morgan has impressed offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich at training camp, Mark Oldacres of Packers Wire reports. Heading into his second NFL season, Morgan is firmly in the Packers' offensive-line mix . The 2024 first-round pick only appeared in six games last year due to a recurring shoulder injury that eventually landed him on injured reserve in November. His versatility has stood out so far in camp, as he has shifted from right to left guard due to injuries to Aaron Banks (back) and Elgton Jenkins (undisclosed), but he's also due to spend time at tackle with Jenkins back in the mix.

  • The Packers placed Morgan (shoulder) on injured reserve Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Morgan aggravated a shoulder injury during practice this week, which is serious enough for the rookie first-round pick to land on IR. He'll be forced to sit for at least the next four regular-season games, and the earliest he can return is Week 15 against the Seahawks on Sunday, Dec. 15. Sean Rhyan is the likely candidate to start at right guard for the Packers for as long as Morgan is sidelined.
