The Seahawks hosted Lemieux (ankle) for a workout Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Lemieux was let go by the Saints in late August with an injury settlement due to an ankle injury. The 2020 fifth-rounder appears to be past the issue and will aim to catch on with a team in need of depth on the offensive line.

Lemieux suffered an ankle injury during Saturday's preseason game against Denver, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports. Lemieux was seen limping off the field during the closing seconds of the first half, but he was starting at center for the start of the third quarter. His ability to return suggests that his injury isn't severe, but the Saints will provide an update on its severity once Lemieux undergoes further tests. The 2020 fifth-rounder signed a contract with the Saints in early August and appeared in seven games (four starts) for New Orleans in 2024.

The Saints signed Lemieux (knee) on Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. The 28-year-old Lemieux is entering his sixth NFL season and has made 16 career starts with the Giants and Saints. He appeared in seven regular-season contests for New Orleans last season, making four starts.

Lemieux (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game versus Kansas City, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports. Lemieux has been unable to practice all week due to an ankle injury. His next chance at playing will be Week 5 against Tampa Bay on Oct. 13. The Saints signed veteran Connor McGovern from the Jets' practice squad to the active roster Friday, and although he has just two practices under his belt in New Orleans, he'll likely serve as the starting center for Monday's contest.
