  • Nate Davis: Works out with Tennessee
    By RotoWire

The Titans hosted Davis (back) for a workout Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Davis appears to recovered from the back injury he'd been dealing with when cut by the Bears in November. The veteran guard was initially drafted by Tennessee in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and he could now reunite with the team, potentially as a member of the practice squad.

  • Nate Davis: Cut by Chicago
    By RotoWire

The Bears waived Davis on Wednesday. Davis' disastrous tenure in Chicago will come to an end halfway through the three-year, $30 million contract he signed in March 2023. The veteran guard lost his starting job to Matt Pryor earlier this season and was a late addition to the Bears' injury report in Week 11, when he was inactive due to a back issue ahead of an eventual 19-3 loss to the Patriots. Once healthy, the 28-year-old Davis could catch on with another organization at a more team-friendly salary.

  • Bears' Nate Davis: Late scratch for Week 10
    By RotoWire

Davis has been ruled out for Sunday's game against New England with a back injury. He wasn't on the Bears' Week 10 injury report, so the back issue may have cropped up following Friday's practice. Davis started at right guard in the Bears' first two games of the season, but Matt Pryor has since supplanted Davis in the lineup.

  • Bears' Nate Davis: Healthy inactive Sunday
    By RotoWire

Davis (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. In the second season of the three-year, $30 million deal he signed with the Bears in March 2023, Davis lost his starting role at right guard to Matt Pryor earlier this season and no longer looks to be viewed as the first guard off the bench. Instead, Bill Murray will be the Bears' choice to step in at left guard or right guard if either Teven Jenkins or Pryor is forced to exit Sunday's contest at any point.

  • Bears' Nate Davis: Active but may not start
    By RotoWire

Davis (groin) is active for Sunday's game against Indianapolis. Davis aggravated his groin injury during Wednesday's practice, which limited him in Thursday's session and caused him to be a DNP on Friday. He'll be active for Sunday's game, though he could operate in a depth role and cede the starting right guard spot to Matt Pryor, according to Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic.
