  • Bears' Jonah Jackson: Back in action
    By RotoWire

Jackson (leg) returned to practice with the Bears on Saturday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports. Jackson was sidelined with a leg injury for a couple of days during the week, but he was able to return to action Saturday. The 28-year-old was traded to Chicago from the Rams in March, and he's expected to operate as the team's starting right guard in 2025. Jackson will now be a full go ahead of the team's preseason opener against the Dolphins on Aug. 10, though it's unclear if he'll be asked to play in the game.

  • Jackson is reportedly dealing with a leg injury and is considered day-to-day, Adam Hoge of AllCHGO.com reports. Jackson's first training camp in Chicago is off to a shaky start as he is already sidelined with a leg injury. The 28-year-old was traded to the Bears in March to stabilize an offensive line that let Caleb Williams get sacked 68 times last season. In his five-year career, Jackson has started in all 61 of his career regular-season appearances, but he's only played in 29 games over the last three campaigns due to injuries.

  • The Rams are trading Jackson to Chicago in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round draft pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The trade cannot technically go through until the new league year begins March 12. Jackson's 2024 campaign was truncated by a fractured scapula he sustained in Week 2 at Arizona, and he was only able to suit up for four games over the course of the regular season. He projects to start at one of the Bears' guard spots in 2025.
