Hall was released by the Jaguars on Monday. Hall's tenure in Jacksonville will end just three months after signing a contract with the team in May. The 29-year-old previously spent short stints with Detroit, Cleveland and Atlanta over the past three seasons, hauling in 26 of his 44 targets for 573 yards and three touchdowns over 23 games during this span. Hall will now look for a new squad where he can serve as a big-play threat this regular season.

Hall appeared in two games for the Falcons this season, recording one catch for 10 yards on 17 offensive snaps. He will now look to find another squad heading into the offseason.

Hall reverted to the Falcons' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Hall was elevated to Atlanta's active roster for Sunday's win over the Lions with Tajae Sharpe (foot) sidelined. Even so, he played only five offensive snaps while also recording one catch on one target for 10 yards. If Sharpe remains sidelined, it's possible that Hall will be promoted again for a Week 17 matchup against the Bills.

With Calvin Ridley (personal) still away from the team and Tajae Sharpe (foot) sidelined, Hall was elevated to the active roster for just the second time this season. The 28-year-old played just five offensive snaps, but he caught his first pass of the season on his only target. Despite the lack of depth in the Falcons' wide receiver corps, Hall likely doesn't garner any fantasy consideration heading into a tough matchup against the Bills in Week 17.
