  • Bolles agreed to terms Thursday on a four-year, $82 million contract extension with the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Bolles' new deal reportedly includes $42 million guaranteed and an additional $4 million in incentives. The 32-year-old left tackle has performed to an elite level as a pass blocker this season, so it's unsurprising to see the Denver prioritize retaining him to protect Bo Nix's blind side for the foreseeable future. Bolles will look to remain stellar as the Broncos prepare to take on the Colts at home Sunday.

  • Bolles (calf) is not listed on the Broncos' final injury report heading into Sunday's game versus the Steelers. After starting the week off as a non-participant, Bolles saw his practice contribution increase each day this week. He is now set to protect Bo Nix's blind side in Week 2 assuming he avoids any setbacks.

Bolles (calf) didn't practice Wednesday. Bolles sustained what initially appeared to be an ankle injury during the Broncos' regular-season opener, but it's been clarified to a calf issue. The 32-year-old's participation in practice Thursday and Friday will be something to monitor, and if he's unable to suit up in Week 2, expect Matt Peart to protect Bo Nix's blindside.

  • Broncos' Garett Bolles: Negative X-rays
    By RotoWire

Head coach Sean Payton told reporters Monday that Bolles' X-rays came back negative after he sustained an ankle injury Sunday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. It appears that Bolles avoided a serious injury, in light of Payton's comments Monday. Payton added that Bolles obviously has a "contusion," so he's still dealing with the issue and could potentially miss time. If the 32-year-old offensive lineman is forced to miss games, expect Matt Peart to work as the Broncos' first-team left tackle.

Bolles is now healthy after breaking his leg last year, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports. Bolles returned to action after landing on injured reserve back in November. The 31-year-old should once again serve as Denver's starting left tackle and will try to help the offense overcome its struggles from last season.
