The Rams cut Henderson from their practice squad Tuesday. In a corresponding move, the Rams signed long snapper Alex Matheson to their practice squad Tuesday. Henderson is set to become a free agent and will now have to look for another opportunity with a different team.

The Rams signed Henderson to their practice squad Wednesday. With Kyren Williams (ankle) poised to return from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game in Arizona, the Rams made two procedural moves Tuesday, waiving Henderson and cutting Cameron McCutcheon from the practice squad. One day later, Henderson is taking McCutcheon's spot on the practice squad and now is a candidate to be elevated for Week 12 action, which would mark his third and final elevation of the campaign.

The Rams waived Henderson on Tuesday. With Kyren Williams (ankle) poised to return from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game at Arizona, Henderson is getting cut to open up a spot on the Rams' active roster. At the same time, L.A. cut cornerback Cameron McCutcheon from its practice squad, seemingly freeing up a spot there for Henderson, assuming he clears waivers. With Williams out Weeks 7 through 10, Henderson started on all four occasions and totaled 215 yards from scrimmage with two rushing TDs on 56 touches.

This should be the final game for Henderson and Royce Freeman to split the role as the best running backs for the Rams with Kyren Williams (ankle) eligible to return in Week 12. I like Henderson better than Freeman given his production in the passing game, and Henderson has scored at least 11.5 PPR points in two of three games since Williams went down. Seattle has allowed six running backs to score at least 11.5 PPR points in the past four games, and Williams had 17.4 PPR points against the Seahawks in Week 1. Henderson should be considered a borderline starter in all leagues in this matchup, with Freeman as a potential flex option.

Motivated to stick around in this league and coming off of a bye with fresh legs, the situation isn't too bad for Henderson, but his upside for a big game is definitely limited. At best he's a low-end RB2 you could start in a pinch or flex in a non- or half-PPR league. I'd rather start Ty Chandler, Jerome Ford and James Cook.
