Garrett was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list for an undisclosed reason Thursday, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports. Garrett made the Rams' 53-man roster after he was selected in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft, but he'll have to spend some time away from the team ahead of Week 1 against the Bears. However, it's not yet clear whether the 23-year-old has tested positive for the virus or whether he was in close contact with someone who did.
