Myers and the Jets agreed to a two-year, $11 million contract extension Friday, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports. Myers was brought in by the Jets in March on a one-year contract to initially serve as the backup center to Joe Tippmann. However, Myers was thrust into the starting role at center after Alijah Vera-Tucker suffered a season-ending triceps injury in early September, which led to Tippmann being shifted over to right guard. Per Cimini, Myers ranks ninth among centers in ESPN's pass-block win rate and 27th in run-block win rate.

The Jets signed Myers to a one-year, $3.5 million contract Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Myers has started at center in all 50 regular-season games he's played in over the past three season in Green Bay. Joe Tippmann served as the Jets' starting center in 2024, so it's unclear whether Myers is being brought in to provide depth at the position or if there will be any reshuffling on the offensive line for the 2025 campaign.

Myers (leg) is dealing with swelling but is said to be all good following Sunday's wild-card loss to the Eagles, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Myers indicated after the loss that he believed he suffered a hairline leg fracture when he was injured late in the fourth quarter. It's certainly a positive development for Myers, who is slated to become a free agent in March. A second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Myers has missed just one game over the last three seasons, starting all 50 others in which he appeared. He'll be in line for a sizable raise on a multi-year contract.

Myers suffered a lower-leg injury in Sunday's 22-10 loss to the Eagles in the NFC wild-card round, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Myers went down with a leg injury late in the fourth quarter, ultimately exiting the game on a cart. The center said after the game that he believes he avoided an ACL or an ankle injury, but there is concern that he may have suffered a lower-leg fracture. More information on the status of Myers will likely come in the near future.

Myers (wrist) will not play in Sunday's game versus the Lions, Mike Spofford of the team's official website reports. Myers fought through a wrist injury in last week's win over the Jaguars, but he will be unable to do so versus the Lions. In his absence, Elgton Jenkins could potentially shift to center, or Jacob Monk could be a candidate to fill in at center.
