The Cowboys waived McMath on Tuesday. McMath has appeared in 14 regular-season games since being selected by Tennessee in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He joined the Cowboys' practice squad in early January after being let go by the Colts in October. McMath entered training camp with an outside chance of making the 53-man roster, and across the Cowboys' three preseason games, he caught five passes on eight targets for 80 yards. Assuming he clears waivers, McMath will look to catch on with a team in need of wide receiver depth, likely on the practice squad.

McMath signed a reserve/future contract with the Cowboys on Monday. McMath joined the Cowboys' practice unit Jan. 3 and will now stick around for the offseason. The wide receiver did not appear in a game in 2023 and he'll look to crack the initial 53-man roster with Dallas in 2024.

McMath was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. McMath will head to Dallas after being let go by the Colts in October. The wide receiver will provide Dallas with an extreme depth option in case of injury.

Indianapolis cut McMath from its practice squad Tuesday. McMath originally joined the Colts' practice team prior to Week 1, but after Week 6, the team has decided to part ways with him. He's now set to become a free agent and hasn't seen the field yet during this regular season.

McMath was added to the Colts' practice squad Thursday. McMath spent OTAs and training camp with the Titans before failing to make it through final roster cuts. Overall, he suited up for 14 games with Tennessee over the previous two years and compiled four receptions for 48 yards, one carry for four yards and seven special-teams tackles in the process. He will now stay in the division and look to acclimate to the Colts' playbook.
