Gentry reverted to the Bills' practice squad Friday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports. Gentry was elevated to the active roster ahead of Buffalo's matchup against the Lions on Thanksgiving. He played only two offensive snaps and was not targeted.

This is Gentry's third elevation of the season, as he was also active in Weeks 5 and 11. He's played 18 offensive snaps over two contests and has drawn only one target, which he did not catch. Barring injuries ahead of him, Gentry is unlikely to play a significant role Thursday against the Lions.

The undrafted wideout failed to haul in his only target across 11 offensive snaps against Pittsburgh that week and figures to see a similar role in Week 11.

Gentry was activated from Buffalo's practice squad for the first time this season with wideouts Jake Kumerow (ankle) and Jamison Crowder (ankle) both out Sunday. The 27-year-old played just 11 offensive snaps and failed to record a catch on his lone target during this 38-3 blowout win over Pittsburgh. However, Gentry could be a candidate for two more elevations from the Bills' practice squad after Crowder was placed on injured reserve Monday.
