The Colorado product is now in line to miss his second consecutive game Sunday due to a foot injury. Russell has played just 33 offensive snaps over 11 appearances this season, so his absence won't significantly alter Seattle's offensive game plan. Expect the Seahawks' tight end room to consist of Noah Fant, AJ Barner and Pharaoh Brown in Week 16.

Russell (foot) is not among Seattle's inactives for Sunday's contest against the Jets. Russell logged an LP/DNP/FP practice progression this week and came into Sunday deemed questionable to play. He'll ultimately be able to suit up, though it's likely Russell's work will come mostly on special teams, as usual, especially with three healthy tight ends ahead of him on the depth chart. Russell has logged only 31 offensive snaps versus 190 special-teams snaps over nine contests on the campaign.

Russell (foot) was a full participant in Friday's practice but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Russell went from limited Wednesday to a DNP on Thursday, but he managed to practice Friday without restrictions. Given his rocky practice participation this week, Russell's status for Sunday's game may not be known until the Seahawks announce their inactives approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

He returned to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity, but he wasn't able to participate in Thursday's session. He'll have to practice Friday in order to have a chance at playing Sunday against the Jets.
