• Steelers' Broderick Jones: Likely out for remainder of season

  Jones' neck injury is "more serious than originally thought," and he's expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025 campaign, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Jones was hurt in last Sunday's loss to the Bears and was placed on IR on Saturday. Though an IR stint requires just a four-game absence, it sounds like Jones isn't going to be able to play again this season. Andrus Peat is expected to take over the Steelers' starting role at left tackle.

  Jones (groin) participated in individual drills in training camp Wednesday, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports. Jones has been dealing with a groin injury that has saddled him with a day-to-day designation thus far in camp. The 23-year-old didn't participate in any full-contact drills Wednesday, but he did don pads with the rest of his teammates according to Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com. The Steelers unsurprisingly look to be taking a cautious approach with the third-year pro, who is expected to once again start at left tackle.

• Steelers' Broderick Jones: Working through lower-body injury

  Jones is dealing with a lower-body injury, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Sunday that Jones is day-to-day as he works his way back from the injury. The team will look to get the 2023 first-round pick back soon, as he is expected to serve as the starting left tackle during the upcoming campaign.

  Jones will start the offseason preparing to play left tackle, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. Since being selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2023 Draft, Jones has played just 129 snaps at left tackle and over 1,800 at right tackle. With 2024 first-rounder Troy Fautanu (knee) expected to have a normal offseason after dislocating his kneecap in Week 2 last season, Jones will be ticketed for left-tackle duties in 2025, with Fautanu manning the right side for Pittsburgh.
