    Rahim Moore: Released by Texans

The Texans released Rahim Moore on Thursday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.A free-agent splash just one year ago, Moore quickly fell out of favor in the Texans' defensive backfield and didn't make an appearance after Week 7. Finishing with 16 tackles (10 solo) and one interception, the 26-year-old could find a role elsewhere next season, but a contract in the ballpark of the one agreed to in 2015 (three years, $12 million) is no doubt out of the question.

Report: Texans to sign safety Rahim Moore

Former Denver Broncos safety Rahim Moore has agreed to terms with the Houston Texans, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.  Moore was a second-round selection out of UCLA by the Broncos in the 2011 NFL draft. In his four seasons with Denver, Moore totaled 196 tackles and eight interceptions. Four of those interceptions came this past season.  However, Moore will long be linked with allowing Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco pass to go over his head and into the arms of receiver Jacoby Jones for a late 70-yard touchdown in a divisional round playoff game following the 2012 regular season. The Ravens won that game in double overtime as a result.
