Kenny Vaccaro: Announces retirement
Kenny Vaccaro acknowledged last week that he's likely retired from professional football, Turron Davenport of ESPN reports. "Technically I am still a free agent," Vaccaro said. "I'm happy where I'm at, doing what I'm doing. I just really felt like this was something deep down inside that I wanted to do."Vaccaro was released by Tennessee in March and has received offers from several NFL teams since then. However, he'll elect to end his playing career following eight professional seasons with the Saints and Titans and use the money he earned into launching an eSports organization. The 30-year-old totaled 610 tackles (437 solo), 11.5 sacks, 10 interceptions, 44 pass defenses, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries across his eight seasons.

Kenny Vaccaro: Cut loose by Tennessee
The Titans will release Kenny Vaccaro on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.Vaccaro would have cost the Titans $6.9 million for 2021 if he remained on the roster, so it's unsurprising to see him get released. Amani Hooker should slot into Vaccaro's vacated starting role at safety fairly seamlessly, but the loss of Vaccaro is nonetheless a notable one for a Titans squad that also just parted ways with starting cornerback Malcolm Butler.
