    Chase Ford: Waived by Cleveland

The Browns have waived Chase Ford, Nate Ulrich Akron Beacon Journal reports. The Browns had claimed Ford off waivers from the Ravens last week, but the depth TE's stint with the team was short. Look for the Browns to continue to be on the lookout to add depth at the position behind top option Gary Barnidge.

Browns' Chase Ford: Claimed by Browns

The Cleveland Browns claimed Chase Ford off waivers Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.Appearing in 20 of 32 games between 2013 and 2014, Ford picked up 14.3 and 33.1 percent of Minnesota's offensive snaps, respectively, between those two seasons. However, the tight end was pushed to the fringe of the depth chart last year, logging no snaps in any realm between stints with the Vikings and Ravens. Despite this fact, he signed his restricted free-agent tender with the latter organization last month, only to by waived this Tuesday. Upon joining the Browns, he'll be in the mix for reps in a meeting room that is populated by clear-cut No. 1 Gary Barnidge but little else of note.

    Chase Ford: Waived by Ravens

The Ravens have waived Chase Ford.Ford will now look to catch on elsewhere as a depth tight end, while the Ravens continue to roster the likes of Benjamin Watson, Crockett Gillmore and Maxx Williams, with Dennis Pitta also hoping to return to the team's mix after seeing his 2015 season wiped out by a hip injury.

Ravens' Chase Ford: Inks restricted free agent tender

Chase Ford has officially signed his restricted free agent tender from the Baltimore Ravens, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. The tender amounts to $1.67 million, but Ford will have to make the team out of training camp to earn it. Joining an already-crowded tight-end corps including veteran Dennis Pitta (hip), 2015 second-rounder Maxx Williams, Crockett Gilmore (shoulder/back), and the newly-signed Ben Watson, Ford would presumably need to turn heads in training camp to earn the sum. Should Ford do so, he would most likely need multiple injuries to the aforementioned leaders of the Ravens' TE depth chart to make any fantasy noise.

Ravens' Chase Ford: Given one-year tender from Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens extended a one-year, $1.67 million tender to Chase Ford on Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. The former Viking was jettisoned by the team in early November and picked up by the Ravens within a week, but Ford didn't log a snap with either organization in 2015. Previously, in 20 games between 2013 and 2014 in Minnesota, he totaled 34 receptions (on 51 targets) for 391 yards and one touchdown. He'll have difficulty getting back in the act with the Ravens bringing Ben Watson into a positional group that also includes Crockett Gillmore (back), Maxx Williams, and Dennis Pitta (hip).

    Chase Ford: Signed by Ravens

Chase Ford was signed by the Ravens on Tuesday. The Ravens must hold Ford in high regard, as tight end is one of the few positions on the roster that appears to be in good shape. Ford still doesn't figure to have much of a role in the offense.
