The Jets will waive Tim Boyle on Tuesday, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports.Boyle served as the Jets' starting quarterback Weeks 12 and 13 and managed to complete 41 of 63 passes for 327 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions, while recording three carries for four yards and fumbling twice (none lost). He was pulled from this past Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Falcons in favor of Trevor Siemian, and two days later he'll now find himself without an employer. New York intends to sign Brett Rypien off the Seahawks' practice squad, so the Jets will have the choice of Siemian, Zach Wilson or Rypien to get the start this Sunday against the Texans.

Jets' Tim Boyle: Benched for Siemian in second half
Tim Boyle completed 14 of 25 passes for 148 yards, no touchdowns and one interception prior to being benched in the second half of Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Falcons. He added two yards on one rushing attempt.Boyle's longest pass of the game came on a 36-yard pass to Xavier Gipson off a flea flicker, which set up a second-quarter field goal. He also led a drive that ended in a field goal in the third, but an egregious interception on New York's final offensive play of the third quarter led to Boyle's benching. Trevor Siemian wasn't any better after taking over in the fourth quarter. Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) won't be ready to play in Week 14 against the Texans even in the most optimistic scenario, so the New York Jets will have their choice of underwhelming options under center between Boyle, Siemian and Zach Wilson.

Jets' Tim Boyle: In line for another start
Coach Robert Saleh has confirmed that Tim Boyle will remain the New York Jets' starting QB for the team's Dec. 3 contest against the Falcons, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site and Rich Cimini of ESPN.com report.In Friday's 34-13 loss to the Dolphins, Boyle (while replacing Zach Wilson as the team's starting signal caller) completed 27 of 38 passes for 179 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. In his upcoming start versus Atlanta, Boyle isn't a high-percentage lineup option, but he does offer an alternative for fantasy managers in QB-heavy formats as well those impacted by Week 13 byes.
