Esezi Otomewo was waived by the Vikings on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.Otomewo appeared in five games with Minnesota last season after the team selected him in the fifth round of the 2022 Draft. The 24-year-old missed part of camp while in concussion protocols which could have hampered his effort toward staying on board in 2023.

However, it presumably occurred during the Minnesota Vikings' preseason Week 2 loss. Otomewo recorded four assisted tackles across 36 snaps (32 defensive) during the matchup against Tennessee.
