Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Perfect start to season

Brandon Aubrey connected on all four of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 33-17 win over the Browns. It's the kick that didn't count that stands out the most, however. Right before halftime, Aubrey coolly drilled a 66-yarder that would have tied Justin Tucker's record for the longest field goal in NFL history, only to have it wiped out by a delay of game penalty. It's a testament to his leg strength that head coach Mike McCarthy actually seemed to consider letting Aubrey give it a go from 71 yards out, before electing to send out the offense for a Hail Mary instead. Aubrey led the league last season with 157 points, and given the way the Dallas offense dismantled a strong Cleveland defense Week 1, he should be right back near the top of the scoring leaderboard again in 2024.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Kicks 66-yarder against Vegas

Brandon Aubrey converted both his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's preseason game against the Raiders, including a 66-yard FG just before halftime.Had it been the regular season, that kick from the Dallas Cowboys' side of midfield would have tied for the longest field goal in NFL history, matching the record set by Justin Tucker in 2021. Aubrey established himself as one of the best placekickers in the league as a rookie in 2023, and the 29-year-old shows no signs of becoming a one-year wonder.

Aubrey led the NFL with 157 points as a rookie last season and figures to challenge for that crown again in 2024.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Away from team

Brandon Aubrey has yet to rejoin the Dallas Cowboys at training camp following the birth of his first child, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports. The kicker played in Sunday's preseason game against the Rams, converting four of five field-goal attempts with his only miss coming from 65 yards out, but he immediately jumped on a plane afterward to be with his wife. Aubrey is coming off a record-setting rookie season in which he led the NFL in made field goals with 36 and points with 157, and he should again be one of the most productive kicking options in the league in 2024 with a Dak Prescott-led offense at his back.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Record-setting rookie campaign

Brandon Aubrey converted 36 of 38 field-goal attempts and 49 of 52 extra-point attempts over 17 regular-season games in 2023.Signed out of the USFL in the offseason, Aubrey missed his first kick attempt in the NFL on a Week 1 PAT but then went on to set a new NFL record by making 35 straight FG attempts to begin his career. He led the league in scoring with 157 points, and barring any major changes in the offseason to the Dallas Cowboys' potent offense, Aubrey figures to be among the top fantasy options at his position in 2024.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Finally misses FG

Brandon Aubrey connected on one of three field-goal attempts and all five of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 38-10 rout of the Commanders. The rookie kicker's perfect run on FGs ended in the first quarter, when a 32-yard attempt was blocked by Washington. Aubrey then clanked a 36-yard attempt off the left upright in the fourth quarter before finally drilling a 50-yarder to wrap up the scoring for Dallas. Aubrey finishes his first regular season as the NFL's leading scorer with 157 points, going 36-of-38 on FG attempts and 49-of-52 on PATs, and he figures to be busy again Sunday in the wild-card round as the Dallas Cowboys host the Packers.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Another perfect effort Saturday

Brandon Aubrey converted both his field-goal attempts and both his extra-point attempts in a Week 17 win over the Lions.Neither field goal was a chip shot, either, as the rookie kicker drilled a 51-yarder just before halftime before giving Dallas its final points with a 43-yard FG inside the final two minutes of the fourth. Aubrey has already made history by going 35-for-35 on field goals to begin his NFL career, but he's closing in on tying or even surpassing Mike Vanderjagt's perfect 37-for-37 season with the Colts in 2003, which is the record for most conversions in a season without missing a field goal. Aubrey also needs just two more points in Week 18 to set a new rookie record for a season, which would put him ahead of Cody Parkey's 150 for the Eagles in 2014.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Automatic in Week 16 loss

Brandon Aubrey connected on both his field-goal attempts and both his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 22-20 loss to the Dolphins. It's the eighth time this season, and the third in the last four games, that Aubrey has booted multiple FGs and multiple PATs in the same week. The rookie kicker continues to extend his NFL record of 33 straight successful field goals to begin a career, and he leads the league in scoring with 141 points. Aubrey is in line for a productive finish to the regular season with a Week 17 home game against the Lions being followed by a road contest against the defensively challenged Commanders in Week 18.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: No misses in Week 15

Brandon Aubrey converted a 32-yard field goal attempt and his only PAT of the day in Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Bills. While the road struggles of the Dallas Cowboys' offense didn't provide Aubrey with much volume, the rookie kicker once again had a perfect afternoon. He's converted an NFL record 31 straight FG attempts to begin his career and is 40-for-43 on extra points, but Sunday's game was the first since Week 5 in which he didn't kick multiple PATs. Aubrey could be a lot busier in a potential Week 16 barn burner against the Dolphins.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Sets another record Sunday

Brandon Aubrey made all four of his field-goal attempts and three extra-point tries in Sunday's 33-13 win over the Eagles.Aubrey had an impressive Week 14 from all angles, making three field goals from 50-plus yards, including a 59 and 60-yarder, and becoming the first player in NFL history to make two attempts of 59 yards or more in the same game. His other attempts came from 45 and 50 yards out. The rookie kicker out of Notre Dame has yet to miss an FGA on the season and now sits at a perfect 30-for-30. Three PAT misses on 42 tries are the lone blemishes on his season. Aubrey and the Dallas Cowboys will next travel to Buffalo for a Week 15 matchup.
