Tim Jones played one offensive snap and didn't receive a target during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Dolphins.The 26-year-old re-signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in mid-April but unsurprisingly saw most of his action on special teams in Week 1, as he played 16 snaps. Jones appears to be behind Parker Washington and Devin Duvernay on the depth chart at wide receiver, but none of that trio is likely to have offensive relevance if top wideouts Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis and Brian Thomas remain healthy.

Jaguars' Tim Jones: Back in Jacksonville
The Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed Tim Jones on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.Jones was an exclusive rights free agent this offseason, so the Jaguars had the option to retain him for 2024. The wideout appeared in all 17 games last season for the second straight year, finishing the campaign with an 11-83-0 line on 18 targets. He upped his offensive involvement from 145 snaps in 2022 to 339 due to injuries to Christian Kirk and Zay Jones during the year. Jones will again compete for a depth job this summer.
