Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Usage ticking up
Jaylen Warren rushed the ball 14 times for 66 yards in Sunday's 28-27 win over the Commanders. He added two receptions on two targets for 29 yards.Warren earned a season-high 16 touches and outperformed Najee Harris for much of the game. He accounted for three of Pittsburgh's 10 longest gains from scrimmage, highlighted by rushes of 12 and 10 yards as well as a reception that went for 26 yards. The primary downside for Warren's projected role is his lack of work near the goal line, particularly after he lost a crucial fumble in Sunday's winning effort. Even so, his usage continues to tick up, and he should settle into seeing around 12 to 15 touches per game on a consistent basis.

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Produces 63 yards off 11 touches
Jaylen Warren rushed nine times for 46 yards and caught two of three targets for 17 yards in Monday's 26-18 win over the Giants.Warren continues to be one of the more effective backups in the league with another solid showing off of double-digit touches. The 25-year-old's production has taken off in recent weeks after quarterback Russell Wilson took over the offense Week 7. Najee Harris is still the bell cow of this offense, but Warren has shown that he can be effective in a limited role for those in deeper fantasy formats.

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Solid in backup role
Jaylen Warren rushed 12 times for 44 yards and caught two of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 37-15 win over the Jets.Najee Harris was the star of Pittsburgh's rushing attack in a lopsided win over the Jets, but Warren still produced off of 14 combined touches in the win. This was the backup's best output since Week 2 before poor play bookended a minor knee injury in recent weeks. Warren should continue to see a handful of touches behind Harris when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Giants next Monday.

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Nine touches in return
Jaylen Warren recorded six rushes for seven yards in Sunday's 32-13 win over the Raiders. He added three receptions on three targets for 11 yards.Warren returned from a two-game absence and is perhaps healthy for the first time this season. He worked as the change-of-pace back to Najee Harris and was ineffective in the role. However, Warren has shown the ability to work efficiently through his first two seasons in the league and will look to get his campaign on track after being derailed by injuries early on.

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Cleared to face Raiders
Jaylen Warren (knee) has been upgraded from his prior listed questionable status and will not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders, Burt Lauten of Pittsburgh Steelers.com reports. After logging limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, Warren practiced fully Friday, with coach Mike Tomlin noting afterward that the running back headed into the weekend on a "good trajectory on the upswing." Now that Warren -- who had missed two straight games -- has been cleared to face Las Vegas on Sunday, he's in a position to reclaim a portion of the Steelers' backfield duties alongside Najee Harris, a context that makes him a lineup consideration for those in deeper formats or who are in need of Week 6 RB help due to injuries or bye week issues.

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Limited in practice Wednesday
Jaylen Warren (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Pittsburgh Steelers' official site reports.Head coach Mike Tomlin previously labeled Warren as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Raiders, but the running back's involvement in practice in some fashion a day later is at least a positive development. Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) has already been ruled out for Sunday, so Warren would return to a complementary role behind top back Najee Harris if Warren is able to make a surprise return in Las Vegas.

Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Unlikely to play in Week 6
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Jaylen Warren (knee) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Missi Matthews of the Steelers' official site reports.Tomlin has already ruled out Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) for a second straight game, and though the coach is still leaving the door open for Warren to play, the 25-year-old will in all likelihood sit out a third consecutive contest. With Warren and Patterson sidelined for Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Cowboys, Najee Harris (14 carries, two receptions, 74 percent snap share) took on the majority of playing time out of the backfield, while Aaron Shampklin (four carries, no receptions, 19 percent snap share) and Jonathan Ward (two carries, no receptions, five percent snap share) saw limited work behind him. Expect a similar division of labor in Week 6, while Warren turns his focus toward a return to the lineup in Week 7 versus the Jets.
