Ravens' Tyler Huntley: May have turf-toe injury
Tyler Huntley sustained what could be a turf-toe injury during Sunday's 36-10 loss at Buffalo, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.Huntley took over the offense after Lamar Jackson injured his right thumb on the Baltimore Ravens' first offensive snap of the game. Huntley himself lasted into the third quarter until he was knocked from the contest with a toe issue. Head coach Jesse Minter relayed to Ryan Mink of the team's official site afterward that Jackson is slated for thumb surgery and will be placed on IR, while Huntley now may be dealing with a multi-week health concern of his own. Huntley will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the official diagnosis and potential prognosis, but if he also joins Jackson on the pine, undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano (undisclosed) likely will be under center for Baltimore this Thursday against the Jaguars and perhaps beyond that point.

With franchise QB Lamar Jackson headed to IR with a thumb injury that could be season-ending, Huntley's status going forward gains plenty of import. Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Reverting to backup role for Week 8
Tyler Huntley will be the backup quarterback against the Bills on Sunday after Lamar Jackson (ankle) was cleared to return from a three-game absence, Ryan Mink of the Baltimore Ravens' official site reports.Jackson was a full participant in all three practices during Week 8 prep, which was enough for the two-time MVP to be cleared to return for Sunday's road tilt. Huntley started in each of the Ravens' last three games, during which he has completed 68.0 percent of his passes for 664 yards, four touchdowns and one interception while adding 14 carries for 60 yards and a score. Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Career-high passing yardage in loss
Tyler Huntley completed 23 of 34 passes for 298 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding three rushes for 12 yards in the Baltimore Ravens' 35-13 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.Huntley had the Ravens seemingly in control through two quarters, when he helped stake Baltimore to a 13-0 halftime lead by tossing a 48-yard touchdown pass to Zay Flowers in the first quarter. The veteran signal-caller couldn't lead his squad to any second-half points, however, but because Huntley had to continue throwing as Cincinnati built its lead, he finished with a career-high single-game yardage total. Huntley has put together a 4:1 TD:INT over three starts in Lamar Jackson's (ankle) stead, but it's likely the latter will be able to suit up in next Sunday's Week 8 road showdown against the Bills.

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Starting Sunday vs. Cincinnati
With Lamar Jackson (ankle) being downgraded to out, Tyler Huntley will be the Baltimore Ravens' starting quarterback against the Bengals on Sunday.Jackson initially drew the questionable tag after being limited in practice all week, but he has not recovered enough from a high-ankle sprain to make his return for Sunday's AFC North showdown. Huntley will start for a third consecutive game, and the veteran quarterback will face a Bengals defense that has given up only five touchdown passes (tied for third-fewest in the league) and ranks sixth in the NFL in sacks (17).

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Could draw another start Sunday
Tyler Huntley will start Sunday's Week 7 matchup against Cincinnati if Lamar Jackson (ankle) is unable to play, Ryan Mink of the Baltimore Ravens' official site reports.Jackson said Friday that he is dealing with a high-ankle sprain, and though he's receiving treatment on a daily basis, he's officially questionable to suit up Sunday and is considered a game-time decision. The star quarterback has already missed two games because of the injury, and Huntley has stepped in to lead Baltimore to a 1-1 record during that span. While Huntley was excellent in throwing for 201 yards and two touchdowns (and adding a rushing score) Week 5 against Atlanta, he fell back this past Sunday in a loss to Cleveland, throwing for just 165 yards and one score (albeit without committing any turnovers). Whichever Ravens QB starts against the Bengals will face a defense that has given up only five passing touchdowns through five games, though Cincinnati has also given up the fifth-most rushing yards to QBs.

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Can't muster enough offense in loss
Tyler Huntley completed 19 of 31 passes for 165 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions and added five rushes for 28 yards in the Baltimore Ravens' 13-10 loss to the Browns on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.Huntley drew a second straight start with Lamar Jackson (ankle) unavailable, but the former couldn't carry over some early-game momentum into the second half. All 10 of Baltimore's points came in the first quarter, with Huntley contributing in the form of a two-yard touchdown pass to Josh Cuevas. Huntley ultimately connected with six different targets overall, but all Ravens pass catchers except for Zay Flowers had 44 receiving yards or less. Despite the underwhelming performance, if Jackson remains sidelined for a Week 7 divisional clash with the Bengals, Huntley will be in line for a second straight start.
