Bills hosting safety Dawan Landry on Tuesday
Free-agent safety Dawan Landry is visiting the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, the team announced. Landry, 32, spent the last two seasons playing for Bills coach Rex Ryan while both were with the Jets. During his nine-year career, Landry has 13 interceptions.

Jets' Percy Harvin, Nick Mangold deemed questionable in Week 17
New York Jets wide receiver Percy Harvin (rib) and center Nick Mangold (ankle) are the most notable players listed as questionable for Sunday's season finale at Miami. Defensive lineman Damon Harrison (illness), safety Jaiquawn Jarrett (shoulder), safety Dawan Landry (illness), cornerback Darrin Walls (shoulder) and defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson (toe, illness) joined Mangold and Harvin as questionable for Sunday. Meanwhile, the following players were deemed probable: Safety Antonio Allen (hand), guard Willie Colon (knee), kicker Nick Folk (right hip), running back Chris Ivory (hamstring) and running back Chris Johnson (knee). Safety Rontez Miles (shin) was the only player on New York's final injury report of the season ruled out for Sunday.

Antonio Allen trying to unseat Dawan Landry
New York Jets third-year safety Antonio Allen has a good chance to unseat Dawan Landry for a starting job, reports the New York Daily News. Landry had 100 tackles, a sack and an interception last year. "Landry was adequate but unspectacular last season, and the Jets may be hoping to unleash some of Allen’s playmaking ability," the report said. The paper considers first-round pick Calvin Pryor "a lock" to man one safety spot.

Nine Jets probable for Week 17 game
Cornerback Ellis Lankster (jaw) is the lone non-probable on a lengthy New York Jets injury report submitted on Friday. There are nine fellow defenders listed as probable for Sunday against Miami. They are linebackers Demario Davis (thumb), Garrett McIntyre (knee) and Quinton Coples (shoulder), defensive backs Dawan Landry (hand), Ed Reed (non-injury related) and Antonio Cromartie (hip) and linemen Kenrick Ellis (back), Sheldon Richardson (finger/shoulder) and Muhammad Wilkerson (wrist).

New York Jets safety Dawan Landry made a team-high nine tackles, seven solo, in the loss at Carolina. He has 30 tackles in his last three games. Up to 89 stops this season, Landry plays the Browns in Week 16.

New York Jets defensive back Dawan Landry had a productive game in Week 13, in a 23-3 loss to the Dolphins. Landry racked up a season-high 12 tackles -- six solo -- to finish second on the team.

Dawan Landry picks off Week 1 pass
New York Jets safety Dawan Landry had a nice Week 1 game against Tampa Bay Sunday. Landry picked off a Josh Freeman pass in the game. Landry added four tackles for the Jets defense and three of those were solo stops. The safety will next take the field Week 2 at New England.

The Jets lost LaRon Landry to free agency this summer but might replace him with his brother, Dawan. The ex-Jaguar signed with the Jets. Dawan Landry previously worked with Jets coach Rex Ryan in Baltimore.
